Food Technology Manager

Are you an experienced Food Technology Manager with a passion for innovation and quality? We're looking for a skilled and commercially minded professional to lead our food technology function at our Grantham processing plant.

As a Food Technology Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving product and process innovation across our value-add programs and leading food technology in our business. You'll have expertise in food technology, stakeholder confidence, and a passion for delivering high-quality, innovative fresh food products.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead the development, implementation and oversight of food technology programs and processes
• Work closely with government agencies, customer technical teams and internal stakeholders to ensure compliance and innovation
• Support the commercialisation of fresh products through sound technical and QA knowledge
• Drive improvements in food safety, processing efficiency, and product quality
• Provide technical support across production, including micro testing, shelf-life, and labelling compliance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on new product development and process improvement initiatives

What You’ll Bring:

• Minimum 10 years’ experience in food technology, ideally with fresh meat or produce
• Technical background with strong understanding of food processing and manufacturing systems
• Experience working with regulatory bodies and industry standards
• Proven ability to implement processes and manage projects from concept to commercialisation
• QA experience (including micro testing), and exposure to production environments
• Strong senior stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• A hands-on and solutions-focused mindset
